Built as a multi-purpose roll-on-roll off vessel under yard No 533 by Satierul Naval Braila S.A., Braila, Romania for Corpopriete du Navire Shamrock (Cis Shipping International Inc.), Bridgetown, Barbados.
Launched under the name SHAMROCK. She was named after a French trawler that fished around ST-Pierre before new territoriale rules wer set.
Tonnage 4.654 gross, 1.400 net, 4.880 dwt., dim. 119.99 x 18.00 x 8.00m., length bpp. 113.80m, draught 5.31m.
Powered by two 6-cyl. MAN-B&W diesels, 7.826 hp., speed 16 knots. Twin controllable pitch propellers. Fuel capacity 581m³.
Crew 11
Cargo capacity 5.000m³.
Loading gear, two cranes of 40 ton.
2000 Completed. Building cost over $3 million.

She replaced the LISBETH C and was about 30 percent larger, she carries roll on roll off and break bulk cargo as well as containers, including 100 plugs for refrigerated containers.

According the stamp was she used from 01 January 2001 in a service from St Pierre to Halifax and Boston, but according The Working Waterfront made she also calls in Portland, USA.
July 2004 was she arrested at Portland, USA for defaulting her creditors on a loan of $4.3 million.
She was owned by a group of French individuals to take advantage of generous tax credits if runs serviced economically underprivileged areas. But they walked away when the service failed to return their investment.
The creditors, Fortis Bank of the Netherlands took over the running of the ship.
According this web-site she will be sold by auction on 12 November 2004 in Portland.
She was sold to a former Halifax developer and current (2004) president and CEO of Toronto-based trucking and logistics giant Clarcke Inc., he bought the SHAMROCK for $1.
They are currently studying how best to use the ship.
