MICHAEL CARRAS was built in 1958 as a tanker under yard no 729 by Nippon Kokan, Yokahama for Oceanic Petroleum S.S. Co. Ltd., Liberia.
14 October 1957 launched under the name MICHAEL CARRAS.
Tonnage 22.129 grt, 13.709 net, 43.781 dwt, dim. 216.5 x 29.4m., length bpp. 207.3m.
Powered by two geared G.E.C steam turbines 19.250 shp., speed 16½ knots.

1966 Sold to Alma Shipping Corp., Liberia, not renamed.
1973 Sold to Tropis Co. Ltd., Greece, not renamed.
20 April 1980 she arrived by Shyeh Sheng Huat Steel at Kaohsiung, Taiwan for breaking up.
