Built as a tanker by Baltiyskiy Zavod, Leningrad for Navigation Maritime Bulgare (NMB).
Launched under the name VELEKA
Tonnage 10.815 grt, 5.819 net, 16.540 dwt., dim. 162.4 x 21.4 x 8.9m.
Powered by one 6-cyl Bryanski/B&W diesel engine, 9.000 bhp, speed 14.5 knots.
Ice strengthened.
1974 Completed.

She was one of the Velikiy Oktyabr type, of which four units were built for Bulgarian account.
1994 Sold to Hellenic Slops-Perivallodoloki A.E., Piraeus, Greece and renamed SLOPS.
Used thereafter as a hulked storage vessel for oil residues at Kynosoura, Salamis Island.
15 June 2000 exploded and caught fire in the midships in the sea area of Kynosoura, Greece, she sustained heavy damage and a large hole in her hull on the port side near tank 4 and 5. One crewmember was killed.
She was losing heavy oil, and her tanks no 1 and 2 port and starboard were flooded, she got a list of 15 degree.
16 June the fire was brought under control.
23 June 2007 she was awaiting scrapping at the Savvas Shipyard, Elefsina, Greece.
