The vessel depict in this set right under with the black hull is the ZUIDERDAM, not zuiderman or in the Uruguay post website info as zuderman, the images are not so clear that I can read which name is on the stamp, the vessels names are on the wrong stamp, the STAR PRINCESS is on the ZUIDERDAM stamp and the ZUIDERDAM is on the STAR PRINCESS stamp as can be seen on the image.

Built as a cruise liner under yard No 6075 by Fincantiere-Cantieri Navali Italian S.p.A., Monfalcone, Italy for the Holland America Lines (HAL), Rotterdam, Netherlands.
18 April 2001 keel laid down.
14 December 2001 floated out.
Tonnage 81.769 gross, 7.200 dwt., dim. 289.86 x 32.25 x 7.80m. (draught).
Powered by one GE LM 2500 gasturbine, three 16 cyl. and two 12-cyl. Sulzer-Wärtsilä diesel engines, total output 51.840 kW. The gasturbine and diesel engines are placed in separate enginerooms, the gas turbine and two diesels are placed in the forward engine room, the other three diesels in the stern engine room, when the engines in one engine room are failing the vessel can still proceed on the other engines.
Two Azipod propulsion, speed (service 22 knots) full 24 knots.
Accommodation for 1.848 passengers and 800 crew.
15 November 2002 handed over to the Holland America Line.
Homeport Rotterdam.

She was the first of the Vista class cruise liners.
14 December 2002 christened ZUIDERDAM by the TV star and journalist Joan Lunden at Fort Lauderdale. Named for a cardinal point of the compass Zuider = South, when you translate it from the Dutch language it is “southernpier” and has noting to do with a compass.
The same day she sailed for a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale.
February 2005 chartered as floating hotel at Jacksonville, U.S.A. for the Super Bowl finale.

2007 given by Owned by HAL Antillen, under Dutch flag, managed by Holland America Line, Seattle, WA, USA. IMO No 9221279.
