The Rescue runner depicts on this stamp is according http://www.fid.se the THOMAS LAGERSTRÖM, and the photo after the stamp was designed was taken by Fredrik Falkman, who also designed the craft.
The photo was taken during training off Cape of Good Hope in South Africa.

On the same website is given, the Rescue runner is a minimal but powerful rescue boat. It’s rugged enough to operate where other boats can’t. Its is extremely efficient at getting people out of the water. Its small size minimizes risks when boarding in rough weather. The Rescue runner is used for rescuing or assisting people in white water zones, in shallow areas, among rocks and reefs. The Rescue runner can operate individually or be carried to emergency by boat, car or helicopter.

THOMAS LAGERSTRÖM.

She is owned by the Svenska Säilkaper for Räddning of Skeppbrutne (SSRS) and stationed at the SSRS/FUC/Sjösäkerhetsskolan at Öckerö, Sweden.
She belongs to the Rescue runner 3.60m class.
13 November 2004 named THOMAS LAGERSTRÖM at Gothenburg.
Hull type: planning.
Displacement 0.35 ton, dim.3.60 x 1.50 x 0.30m. (draught).
Powered by one water jet manufactured by KaMeWa, and powered by a one 140hp Yamaha engine, speed 40 knots. Fuel capacity 70 litres.
Range 70 miles, endurance 3 hours.
Crew 1 or 2 persons.
Building cost 300.000 SEK.

Also on this stamp is showed the wooden oar-powered lifeboat ANNA WALLENBERG which was stationed in Stafsinge. Can not find anything on her history.
