Watercraft Philately has identified one of the tugs on the QUEEN MARY 2 stamp issued by Great Britain in 2004 The tug right under on the port bow is the tractor tug LYNDHURST operating in the Southampton port, the other tug till so far not identified, click on the stamp you will get a larger imago and maybe you known the name.

Built as a tractor tug under yard No 117 by McTay Marine, Bromborough U.K. for Howard Smit Towage Ltd., (Svitzer Towage Ltd.) Southampton.
January 1996 launched under the name LYNDHURST.
Tonnage 379 grt, 113 net, 174 dwt., dim. 30 x 11.6 x 3.4m. (draught)
Powered by two Ruston 6-cyl. Oil 4SA engines, hp?, twin Voith Schneider propellers.
Bollard pull 43 tonnes.
April 1996 delivered to owners.

She operated in the port of Southampton and the waters near the port.
July 2006 renamed in ADSTEAM LYNDHURST.
2008 In service under same name, owned by Svitzer Towage Ltd., Hull. IMO No. 9129495.
