Built as a supply vessel under yard No 180 by the Teraoka Zosen Shipyard Co., Nandan, Japan for John Swire & Sons Ltd, U.K.
25 July 1978 first section laid down.
20 October 1978 delivered under the name BIGORANGE XI.
Tonnage 851 grt, 990 dwt, dim. 57.71 x 12.20 x 4.49m., length bpp. 52.49m.
Powered by two 6-cyl. Yanmar oil 4SA diesel engines, 2.599 bhp., twin screws, speed 11 knots.
01 December 1978 delivered to owners. Registered in Panama.

1992 Renamed by Swire Supply Vessel Corp., Panama in PACIFIC MARLIN.
She is listed as a production-testing vessel capable of loading deck cargo for offshore installations.
Her tonnage is now given as 1.200 grt, 360 net.
Managed by Swire Pacific Services.
May 2001 transferred to Singapore registry.
2007 as given by Equasis, owner Swire Supply Vessel Corp., managed by Swire Pacific Offshore, Singapore. IMO No 7810741.

14 June 2016 arrived Alang for scrapping, work commenced the same day by Priya Blue Industries.

IMO No 7810741.
