Built as a C1-M-AV1 cargo vessel under yard 1342 by Consolidated Steel, Wilmington Calif. For the US Maritime Commission.
31 August 1945 launched under the name COASTAL COURSER.
Tonnage 3.805 gross, 2.123 net, 5.032 dwt,. Dim. 338.6 x 50 x 29ft., length bpp 320ft., draught 18 ft.
Powered by a 6-cyl. diesel engine, manufactured by Nordberg Mfg. Co., Milwaukee, 1.750 bhp, one shaft, speed 11 knots.
Range 14.500 miles.
Two decks, three holds with a cargo/deeptank before the superstructure and one reefer hold behind the superstructure.
Crew 35.
November 1945 delivered.

Not sure of she ever has sailed under USA flag.
1948 Sold to H/f Eimskipajfélag Islands, Reykjavik, Iceland and renamed TROLLAFOSS.
L.R 1955 gives then a tonnage of 3.997 gross, 2.648 net, 6.013 dwt., dim. 338.8 x 50.1 x23.3ft. (draught).

1964 Sold to Western Pacific Shipping Co., Monrovia, Liberia and renamed SEOUL.
29 August 1973 while laying at anchor in ballast at Inchon during a sudden heavy gale she dragged her anchors and was blown aground on to a concrete causeway where she became high and dry astride it, several feet above water level.
Having sustained extensive bottom damage and with her back broken at the middle of No 3 hold, she was declared a constructive total loss.
February 1974 sold and broken up in situ.
