Update.

Could carry 672 TEU's.

When AXEL JOHNSON was delivered in June 1969, it was one of the first pure container vessels in the world to be built, a large modern container vessel now embarked on its maiden voyage on the company's well-established Europa - North Pacific line via the Panama Canal to the west coast of North Amerika, and the vessel attracted a great deal of attention in all ports visited.

20 October 2014 arrived under the name HARMONY 1 at Alang, India for demolition, and she was scrapped by MK Sg & Allied who began work on 25 October 2014.
