Built as a cargo vessel under yard No. 1702 by Georgi Dimitrov, Varna, Bulgaria for the Czechoslovak Ocean Shipping (COS), Prague, Czechoslovakia.

26 September 1961 launched under the name JISKRA.

Tonnage 1.935 grt, 764 net, 3.096dwt., dim. 92.4 x 13.8m.

One diesel engine, 1.620hp., speed 13 knots.

23 June 1963 in service by COS.



She was one of the smallest ships in the Czech. Fleet, and used on the short sea routes from Black Sea ports to ports in the Mediterranean, and was a frequent visitor in Beirut, Famagusta, Alexandria and Tripoli.

29 September 1980 sold and delivered to Fairland Shipping, Monrovia, renamed PIERROS, under Panama flag and registry.

1982 Under Greek flag and registry, homeport Piraeus.

1983 Sold to Florentia Shipping Co., Puerto Cortez, Honduras, renamed FLORENTIA.

22 June 1985 laid up at Suez till sold to shipbreakers.

1988 Sold to Mourtada Abel Azis Iman, Egypt, renamed KING TOOT.

21 November 1988 arrived she under the name PIERROS by shipbreakers at Gadani Beach, Pakistan, she was sold by Pharaohnic Petroleum Services Co., Egypt. (most probably renamed for her last voyage to the breakers, and sold by a bunker company, looks she was sold by them to recover some bunker bills.)
