H.M.S. Lowestoft of 1913 was a cruiser, second class, of 5,440 tons, sister ship to the Birmingham and Nottingham, with a designed h.p. of 25,000, and speed 24.75 knots. Fifth ship of the name, the first was built in 1697. The light cruiser was launched at Chatham Dockyard on April 23, 1913 and was broken up at Milford Haven in 1931. SG154
