Stalinetz class submarine, designed in the Netherlands. Disp 840/1070 tons, L255ft, B 21ft Dr 14.5ft. Two diesel engines, two shafts, 19.5 knots. Two electric motors. Surface cruising 3,380 sea miles at full speed, 9,800 sea miles at 10.5 knots. Arm one 100mm, one 45mm RA guns, six torpedo tubes, 12 torpedos.
Medium size submarine for open sea warfare. Diving limited to 328ft. Transferred from Pacific to Northern fleet via Panama Canal Oct 1942 to Mar 1943. Returned to Pacific via northern route summer 1950. Decommissioned 1959 to become stationary submarine training unit at Vladivostok SG5270

She served in the Russian Pacific fleet until 05 September 1975 when she was converted into a museum at Vladivostock where she is on public display.
