The 50f stamp is certainly an oddity for the vessel was originally a Mississippi steamship, built in St. Louis and bought in 1942. She was convened into a motor-ship in 1951, with the installation of Baudouin motors. In 1970 two Payad motors of 450 h.p. were installed. Dimensions are: length 46.1 m. and breadth 9.14m. She was renamed Bessangoa in 1970. The vessel was hulked in 1973 and has now become the living quarters of the superintendent on the River Lobayc. SG179
