1914-1934. Originally named Wheatsheaf, this was a steel, well-decked, 3-masted steamer, built in 1906 by the Ailsa Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Ayr, for Spillers and Bakers Ltd., Cardiff. Sold to the Falkland Islands Company, she first arrived at Port Stanley on February 5,1914, and carried mail and cargo until 1934, making voyages to Montevideo, Punta Arenas and once, in 1929, to South Georgia. She was sold in 1934 to Chilean buyers and renamed Teresa.Details were: gross tonnage, 452, net 158, length 152 ft., breadth 24 ft. 9 in. and depth 10 ft. Her compound engine was built by Muir and Houston, Glasgow.SG337A
