16 Jan 1923 launched by D and W Henderson, Glasgow for Frederick Leyland. Feb 1924 reported disabled with broken propeller shaft when on passage from Boston to Liverpool. She was taken in tow by another Leyland craft, BELGIAN and arrived at Horta, Azores 6th March 1924. She was towed home by tugs arriving at Liverpool 27th March 1924. 16th January 1934 acquired by T & J Harrison for £27,503 10th July 1940 attacked by the German commerce raider WIDDER about 410 miles from Barbados and sank in position 19.00N, 54.30W. She was on passage from London and Cardiff for the West Indies with general cargo and patent fuel. Six men were injured at least two seriously one of whom died 17 days later. St Kitts SG320
