Built as cargo/reefer training vessel under yard No b80-5/11 by the A. Warskiego yard in Szczecin for the PZM in Poland.
10 August 1974 launched under the name KAPITAN LEDOCHOWSKI.
Tonnage 5.957 gross, 2.327 net, 5.506 dwt. Dim. 122.1 x 17.0 x 7.4m. (draught), length bpp. 112.0m.
Powered by one 5-cyl. Cegielski/Sulzer engine, 5.500bhp., one screw, speed 16 knots.
Accommodation for 50 crew, 12 teachers and 112 cadets.
Three holds, five hatches, discharging/loading gear of 1 – 30 ton, 2 – 5 ton derricks and one 5-ton crane.
1975 Delivered to owners.

1989 Sold by Polish Shipping Co., Poland to Jiangsu Province Marine Shipping Co., Panama, renamed ZHENG HE.
1999 Sold to Shenzhen Haida Shipping Co. Ltd., Lou, Cui Yuan, Guangdong Prov., China, renamed YU YING.

http://www.equasis.org gives for 2009, still in service under same name and owners as training ship, under Chinese flag and registry. IMO No. 7384742.

2015 She is not more mentioned by equasis, most probably dismantled.
