Bamora 1914

Bamora, (250h. stamp). A steel vessel of 3,285 gross tons, 1,878 net, she was built by Barclay, Curie and Co. Ltd., Glasgow. Her dimensions were 33.2 X 46.2 x 23.1 ft. and she had triple expansion engines supplied by the builders. Speed was 12 knots. The Bamora was one of three sister ships all built in 1914 by Barclay, Curle, (the others being the Bandra and Barpeta) for service between India and Persian Gulf ports. The Bamora was sold to Indian buyers and broken up in May 1950.
