Built as a passenger-cargo vessel by Atel. & Chant. De la Loire, St Nazaire for Roumanian State Maritime Service-Service Maritim Roman, Constantza.
1907 Launched under the name DACIA.
Tonnage 3.418 gross, 1.364 net, 1.500 dwt, dim. 356.9 x 41.9 x 27.5ft.
Two triple expansion oil burning steamengines, manufactured by de La Loire, hp 525 nhp, 2 screws, speed 18 knots.
Passenger accommodation for?.
May 1907 delivered to owners.

Built for the mail service from Constanta-Constantinople-Piraeus-Alexandria.
Circa 1916 requisition by the Imperial Russian Navy used as an auxiliary cruiser hospital ship and seaplane tender, seized by the Bolsheviks in 1917.
02 May 1918 seized by the Germans at Sevastopol, and recovered by Romanian owners circa Dec. 1918.
During World War II used by the Romanian Navy as a naval auxiliary minelayer.
20 August 1944 damaged by Soviet air attack at Constantza.
1945 Handed over to U.S.S.R. as reparations, renamed DESNA.
1951 Renamed PKZ-34 and hulked September 1951.
Stricken1960, and broken up by Inkerman in 1961.
