Built under yard no 56 as a steel screw motor vessel by San Jacinto at Aveiro, Portugal, for Empresa de Transportes do Funchal Ltda., Funchal.
05 April 1962 launched under the name MADEIRENSE.
Tonnage 1.308 gross, dim. 230.8 x 36.5 x 12.7ft.
One eight cyl. 4SA Werkspoor diesel, manufactured by N.V. Werkspoor Amsterdam, 1.450 bhp., speed 12 knots.
Machinery aft, and fitted out with refrigeration machinery.
Passenger accommodation for 12 passengers.
Four hold, two with tween decks, three hatches.
July 1962 delivered to owners.

She was used in the service between Funchal and Lisbon, and carried general cargo and fruits, mostly bananas from Maidera. Used also for the transport of passengers from Funchal to Porto Santo.
31 December 1979 taken over by the Porto Santo Ltd. (STEER Shipmanagement services Ltd. Funchal), Funchal not renamed. Used for cargo transport among the islands in the group.
1994 Refitted and upgraded. Used in the trade with cargo and passengers between Porto Santo and Funchal
2009 as given by http://www.equasis.org Same name, owners given as Porto Santo Line at Funchal, Madeira.
IMO NO. 5216587.
21 October 2000 was she scuttled as a reef in position 33 06N 16 09W off Madeira,
