Turbine

This label shows the Italian destroyer Turbine, built by Pattison of Naples in 1901. She was sunk by the gunfire of an Austrian light cruiser and destroyers in the Adriatic on May 24, 1915. Pattison built six of this class, each having a displacement of about 330 tons, with dimensions of 210 ft. x 19.14 ft. x 7.6 ft., engines of 6,000 i.h.p. and a speed of 30 knots. The Turbine carried one 12 pdr. quick-firing gun, five 6-pdrs. and four 18 in. torpedo tubes. Her complement was 53.
