Ta Ching No. 30. One of a series of Petroleum tank ships built by the Hang Chi Shipyard, Shanghai during 1969-1971.
Owned by Chine Ocean Shipping Company.
Built in 1970, rated as a single deck, single screw motor tankship of 10,000 gross tons, length 525ft.
Diesel engines for a speed of 15 knots.

Built as a tanker by Hung Chi Shipyard in Shanghai for the Chinese Government, and managed by China Ocean Shipping.
Launched under the name TACHING N0 30.
Tonnage 10.494 grt, 15.786 dwt., dim. 163.4 x 20.6m., length bpp. 152.0m.
Powered by one diesel engine, ?hp., speed 16 knots.
1972 Completed.

1979 Name changed to DA QING 30. Imo No 7224980
According to Miramar she never has sailed under the name TACHING NO 30, but at that time information out of China was scarce.
2003 Out of service.
December 2002 scrapped in China.

LR88/89 gives: built by Dairen Dockyard, Dairen (China) for Bureau of Maritime Transport Administration, Shanghai Branch as DA QING 30.
Nt:5441, Depth:11,16m. draught:8,80m. 7 cyl. engine: 8820 bhp. (6488 kW.) built by Hudong Shipyard, Shanghai, 14 kn. 19 tanks, Callsign BPFV.
