1987 Venezuela issued a set of 10 stamps to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Cia Venezolana de Navegacion (C.A.V.N.) at Caracas.

The ZULIA was built as a cargo-reefer vessel under yard no 1076 by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries at Kobe, Japan for Fondo de Inversiones de Venezuela. Managed by Compania Anonima Venezolana de Navigacion (C.A.V.N.) at Caracas, Venezuela.
Tonnage 12,340 gross, 6,405 net, 17,644 net. Dim. 160.03 x 22.92 x 10.01m., draught 9.15m.
Powered by one 6 cyl. Sulzer diesel engine, 12,000 bhp., speed 16 knots. One bow thruster
1977 Delivered to owners.
Homeport La Guaira.

1993 Sold to Samor Shipping Co. Ltd., Cyprus and renamed IPAGA II.
1995 renamed in SEAHORSE V.
1996 Renamed NIKOLETTA.
1996 Sold to Ordancia Shipping Ltd., Cyprus and renamed MARIANNE S.
28 June 2001 broken up at Alang.
