Built at the island Bequia one of the Saint Vincent and Grenadines islands.
She was hand-built on the beach in Friendship Bay by Captain Calvin Lewis and Henry, Eric and Ernest Adams.
1969 Launched as the FRIENDSHIP ROSE.
Tonnage?, length 100 ft overall with bowsprit..
Auxiliary engine: One 190 hp Caterpillar diesel.
Gaff rigged schooner.
Hull is made of greenheart wood from Guyana above the waterline and Canadian pitch pine below the waterline.
Frames are made from local white cedar.
She was the last Bequia schooner only built by hand tools.

After completed used between the islands with passengers, mail and all sorts of cargo.
After the cargo service was not more economical, Captain Lewis used her for day-sailing cruises from the early 1990’s.
2004 She was sold to Alan and Meg Whitaker, who added a bowsprit and made some upgrades on her accommodation.
Thereafter again used for daytrips from Bequia.
2006 Was she still commanded by one of her builders Captain Lewis.
