COLOR MAGIC ferry

Built as a cruise car ferry under yard No 1355 by Aker Finnyards, Turku, Finland for the Color Line Cruises AS, Sandefjord, Norway.
08 August 2006 keel laid down.
15 December 2007 launched as the COLOR MAGIC, one sister the COLOR FANTASY.
Tonnage 75,027 grt, 48,197 net, 4.750 dwt, dim. 223.75 x 35.00 x 6.80m (draught).
Powered by four Wärtsilä 8L46B diesel engines, 31,200 kW., two controllable pitch propellers.
Service speed 22 knots.
Three bow thrusters and two stern thrusters.
Accommodation for 2,750 passengers, 250 crew.
Can carry a total of 750 cars, Lane meters 1,265.
16 December 2006 towed from Abo to Rauma for fitting out by Aker Finnyards, Rauma.
06 September 2007 completed, building cost about 300 million Euro.

She can make also short cruise voyages, and she and her sisters were at that time the largest cruise ferries in the world.
08 September 2007 sailed from Rauma to Oslo where she arrived on 10 September.
15 September 2007 christened in Kiel, Germany by the actress Veronica Ferres,
17 September 2007 in the service between Oslo and Kiel.
2013 In service, same name and owner, IMO No 9349863.
