Elbe-I (Lightship) 1936

She was one of four light vessels on the Elbe River before WW-II.

She was stationed in position 54°01'N-008°13'E. She has a red hull, stepped two masts, with a black ball on the mizzen, and a yellow light tower. She made one white flash of eight seconds duration every 20 seconds. The light being visible for 12 NM.

Displacement 400 tons. 147'7"(pp) x 25'5" x 13'1" draft. Crew of 15.

She capsized and sank during a heavy storm on the night of 27 Oct 1936 with the loss of all hands.
