Wallis & Futuna issued in 2018 a se-tenant stamp to celebrate the addition of Wallis & Futuna Islands and the Island of Fiji to the Tui-Samoa Cable System which will bring high speed broadband internet to the island. The cable was laid with funding of the EU.
The cable vessel which is not so good visible on the stamp is the French cable vessel ILE DE RÉ who laid the cable to the island.
