Post by aukepalmhof » Thu Nov 21, 2019 8:10 pm

The catamaran type watercraft shown on this stamp is an all-aluminum high-speed underwater sightseeing boat used in the Uwakai Kaiiki Marine Park in Japan.
1996 Completed under the name YUMEKAINA by Kambara Marine Development & Shipbuilding Co. Ltd.
Tonnage 19 ton, dim. 17.3 x 5.6 x 1.75m.
Powered by two MTU 6R 183 TE 92 diesel engines, 457 hp. twin shafts, speed 20.3 knots.
Passengers 68.

The Uwakai Kaiiki Koen Marine Park is a paradise of tropical fish and coral reefs. Here the water temperature is never below 15 degrees, even in winter. The underwater pleasure boats, YUMEKAINA and GAIYANA take you to this scuba diving mecca. As the central viewing room of the boats dive down to 1.1m, you can enjoy the fantastic underwater scenery of the coral-covered seafloor and schools of tropical fish swimming by from the convenience of the boat. Better still, experience the warm water of the Uwa Sea and check out the little-known creations of nature thanks to the incredibly clear ocean water. The cruise takes 40 minutes.
