CHRISTINA crude oil carrier 2016

Post by aukepalmhof » Mon Oct 11, 2021 8:55 pm

Korea issued in 2021 four stamps and two MS with “Ships built in Korea”.
The crude oil tanker, I found a photo on the net, made most probably during the trials when she made a turn to starboard as seen on the wake. And comparing this with the stamp she is most probably the CHRISTINA. She was the third unit of this series, but she has the only gray hull color.
She is one of a series of crude oil tankers built between 2016 and 2017 by the Hyundai Heavy Industry in Ulsan, South Korea,

Yard No 2835 and built for Kudu Shipping Co. Ltd, Greece.
14 December 2015 laid down.
20 May 2016 launched as the CHRISTINA.

Powered by ? Speed 16 knots.
15 July 2016 completed. Homeport Chios, Greece, IMO 9772125.
