Vladislav is a 74-gun sailing ship of the line of the Russian Baltic Fleet. One of nineteen Yaroslav-class ships. It was laid down on September 19 (30), 1782 at the Solombala shipyard in Arkhangelsk, launched on May 12 (23), 1784. The construction was carried out by the ship's master Mikhail Dmitrievich Portnov.
The ship, under the leadership of Captain-Commander S.S. Gibs, took part in the war with Sweden in 1788-1790.
From June to August 1784, "Vladislav" with the squadron moved from Arkhangelsk to Kronstadt. In 1785, as part of a squadron, the ship went on a practical voyage to the Baltic Sea to Bornholm. On December 20, 1787, the ship was assigned to the Mediterranean squadron of Admiral S.K. Greig.
On June 23, 1788, with the squadron of S.K. Greig, "Vladislav" left Kronstadt and went in search of the ships of Sweden. On July 6, the ship took part in the battle of Gogland, during which it was in the center of the battle (corps debatalia). During the daytime battle, it was badly damaged - received 34 holes. 257 people were killed and wounded. At night, the damaged ship was carried into the middle of the Swedish fleet and it was surrounded. A ship with a broken hull, a broken spars and a faulty rudder was taken prisoner. Three cannons could not withstand the intense fire and exploded.
