One this stamp is most probably depict a Pijao class submarine of the Colombia Navy.
She were built by Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft Nordseewerke, in Germany, 68 were built, two units were built for the Colombia navy the ARC PIJAO SO-28, yard no 61,and the TAYRONA SO-29, yard 62.
18 04 1975 PIJAO completed.
16 07 1975 TAYRONA completed.
Displacement: 1,000 tons surfaced, 1,290 tons dived. Dim. 55.9 x 8.25m. Draught 5.5m.
Powered diesel-electric by 4 MTU diesels, and 1 Siemmens electro motor, delivering 5,000 shp to one shaft.Speed 10 knots surfaced, 22 knots dived.
Range by 10 knots snorkeling 8.000 mile, and 400 mile at 4 knots submerged.
Armament when built: 8 – 21 inch torpedoes.
2023 Both submarines are still in service.
