Mineral Seraing
Mineral Seraing, an ore carrier, built in 1965 by S.A. CockerillOugree for the Cie. Maritime Beige, Antwerp. Her deadweight tonnage is 53,445; gross tonnage being 32,868. She has an overall length of 753 ft., beam 105 ft., and draft of 38 ft. 11 ins. She is diesel-engined, her speed being 15 knots.

Two Belgian bulk carriers are depict on this Belgium stamp by entering the Zandvliet locks near Antwerp, the first is the MINERAL GENT the other is the MINERAL SERAING.
Built as a bulk carrier under yard No 819 by S.A. Cockerill Ougrée, Hoboken near Antwerp for Cie Maritime Belge S.A., Antwerp.
29 April 1965 launched under the name MINERAL SERAING
Tonnage 32.164 grt, 10.658 net, 57.777dwt., dim. 229.67 x 32.16 x 12.40/1644m (draught)
Powered by an 8-cyl. Cocerill-Sulzer diesel, 17.600 bhp., speed 15.5 knots.
September 1965 delivered to owners.
1978 Sold to China Ocean Shipping Co., Canton, renamed QI LI HAI.
1992 Deleted from Lloyds Register, she was the last time reported on arrival Shanghai in May 1986..
