PRINKIPS MAXIMILIANOS

Built in 1837 as a paddle steamer on the Poros Naval Yard, Poros, Greece for the Greek Navy.
April 1837 launched under the name PRINKIPS MAXIMILIANOS. (Also known under her Latin name PRINCE MAXIMILIAN.)
Tonnage 180 ton.
Steam engines of 40nhp., were of the HERMIS which was built in 1828 in the U.K., engine was built by Galloway. New boiler was ordered in England.
She was constructed by Rozen and finished by G. Tobazis.

Was used as a royal yacht by King Otto (Ortho) and as a mail steamer.
October 1841 due to engine problems not more operational.
1846 Stricken from the navy list.
