Built as a cargo vessel in 1962 by the VEB-Warnowerft, Warnemunde, East Germany for the Deutsche Seereederei at Rostock.
Launched under the name EDGARD ANDRE, 16 sisterships.
Tonnage 8.002 gross, 4.246 net, dim 144.2 x 18.7 x 8.6m.
Powered by one 7-cyl DMR diesel engine, 5.850 bhp, speed 14.5 knots.
Five holds, three before the bridge and two behind.
1962 Completed.

Used in the services of the Deutsche Seereederi to the Far East.
Between 1984 and 1985 converted at the Viktor Lenac yard at Rijeka, Yugoslavia into a gearless steel product carrier for service between Rostock and Klaipeda.
Her tonnage then given as 7.707 grt, 4.151 net, 10.300 dwt.
1991 Sold to Incom Shipping Ltd., St Vincent, renamed EDGARD.
The same year sold to ship breakers at Pakistan, and arrived at Gadani Beach on 05 December 1991.
