Stern trawler, built in 1974 by Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering Co Ltd. Busan for Korea Marine Industry Development Corp, Busan.
Gross 737, net 314, d/w 858.
Length 61.4m, beam 10.62m, draught 6.66m.
Six cyl Akasaka diesel, 2000 BHP speed 14.5 knts.
Is equipped with fish detecting radars.
Log Book July 1986.
South Korea SG1483 (I do not have the stamp)

Built as a stern trawler factory ship under yard No 167 by Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Eng., Busan, South Korea, for Korea Marine Industry Development Corp., Busan
Launched as the SOO GONG No 71.
Tonnage 737 grt, 314 net, 858 dwt., dim. 61.4 x 10.62 x 6.66m, length bpp 55.0m., draught 4.15m.
Powered by one 6-cyl. Alaska diesel engine, 2,000 hp, speed 14.5 knots.
Fitted out with four cargo booms which can lift 4 ton each.
October 1974 completed.

The same year sold to Sam Ho Moolsan Co., Ltd., Busan and renamed TAE BAEK No 211.
03 February 1987 she grounded at Mukho in which she was severely damaged, that she was declared a constructive total loss.
03 April 1987 refloated and towed to Busan where she was purchased by South Korean Interests.
After extensive repairs the vessel was subsequently returned to service under the name HWA RANG No 87.

2007 Sold to Chungbing Fishing Co. Ltd., Busan, not renamed

2018 According Miramar she is in service, under same name IMO No 7355856.
