She was an especially large vessel of Venetian origin and also used in the trade between England and Flanders from the 14th to the 16th century.
Manned by as many as 80 oarsmen, also sailed by setting up to 3 lateen sails. The stamp shows one with one mast.
Being subject to piracy she mostly sailed in convoy and carrying up to 30 archers.
She was steered using quarter rudders.
Dim. length on deck 41.4 metres, beam at bottom 3.52 metres, depth 2 metres.
