XIAN FENG suction dredger

The vessel on the stamp carried the name XIAN FENG on the bow, she is a suction-dredger.
The following received from Mr. Huang Guojian via Mr. Erhard Jung.
The XIAN FENG means “perilous peak”.
A self-propelled suction dredge built by the Jiang Nan Shipyard, Shanghai in 1971.
Displacement (fully loaded) 11,790 tons, dim. 115.5 x 18.4 m
Can lower on both sides of the hull one suction pipe, maximum dredging depth 20m. Two suction pumps.
Powered by two diesel engines each 1,912 kW, two variable pitch propellers, twin rudders.
One 4,500 cubic metre hold, which can hold maximum 7,000 ton mud.
