The ST GABRIEL was used for a second discovery voyage this time under command of Ivan Fedorov and Mikhail Gvozdev.
23 July 1732 she sailed out to explore the islands and the Big Land, the first two weeks they sailed near the coast before setting an easterly course to Big Diomede Island which they reached on 17 August, 20 August they sighted Little Diomede Island. Between the two islands is now the boundary between the USA and Russia.
18 August they arrived what now is called Cape Prince Of Wales, Alaska.
In 1738 and 1739 the ST GABRIEL was used in two more expeditions, now to the south, in the first expedition she was together with two other ships, and in this expedition they discovered around thirty new islands in the Kurile chain of islands between Kamchatka and Japan.
On the second expedition she sailed over the mythical Juan de Gama Land, what was believed that it was seen by a sixteenth century explorer. Not finding the land she sailed south to Matsmai Islands, Japan where the crew traded with the Japanese.
The fate of the ST GABRIEL is unknown.
