FORTUNA II yacht

Built as a training yacht in the North Dock Naval Workshop (Astillero Tandanor) in 1976 for the Argentinean Navy. Designed by Frers Germain.
Launched as the FORTUNA II.
Displacement 17 ton, dim. 16.35 x 4,54 x 2.56m. (draught).
Aluminium hulled.
Sail area under full sail: 380.77 m². Sail No ARG-1222.
Crew 14.
After completing she was used in many national and international regattas, and is used to teach cadets the various tasks of navigation skills in the waters off the Argentinean coast.
Takes part in several yacht races from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro which she won in 1981, finished second twice and won the blue ribbon in this race in 1990 and 2000.
Participate in the traditional regatta Buenos Aires to Mar del Plata which she won five times the last time in 2004.
2019 In service by the Argentinean Navy. Homeport Buenos Aires.
