Built as a cargo vessel by the Nampo Ship Yard in Nampo for the Government of North Korea.
Launched as the HWANGGUMSAN, Miramar and equasis give the name as HWANG KUM SAN.
Tonnage 2,920 grt, 1,460 nrt, 4,136 dwt. Dim. 101.13 x 14.0 x 7.8m., length bpp. 90.08m.
Powered by a Sulzer 8TAD48 diesel engine 2,206 kW. Speed about 10 knots.
Cargo capacity. 4,890 m² grain, 4,406 m² bale.
Four derricks of 3 ton.
September 1974 completed. IMO No. 7743223.
She was owned by and managed by Tonghae Sonbak Co, Pyongyang, North Korea.
11 April 2011 was she broken up.
