Barbados issued in 2012 a stamp of Bridgetown Port with many cruiseships moored in the port.
Mr. Peter Crichton had identified the blue hulled cruise vessel on the foreground as the OLYMPIC VOYAGER or her sister the OLYMPIC EXPLORER. Both vessels were making calls at Barbados.
The photo taken after the stamp was designed we can narrow down between 2000 and 2004, when both vessels were sold and received an other hull colour.
Who has any idea which other cruise vessel are depict?
The photo after the stamp was designed was taken between June 2000 and December 2002, Mr. Peter Crichton has identified the ships or class depict on the stamp as follow.
1) The black hulled vessel on the head of the breakwater is the OLYMPIC VOYAGER or OLYMPIC EXPLORER.
2) Behind this vessel is berthed one of the Carnival Cruise line, either CARNIVAL LEGEND, CARNIVAL PRIDE or CARNIVAL SPIRIT, this three ships were completed before the end of 2002.
3) Then in the back of the port is berthed NORDIC EMPRESS.
4) The VICTORIA of the P&O is berthed alongside the quay behind the larger cruise vessel.
5) The larger cruise vessel in front of the VICTORIA is one of the Royal Caribbean International cruise vessels, she is either BRILLIANCE OF THE SEAS OR RADIANCE OF THE SEAS, there are three other ships in this class but their funnels do not match the ship shown on the stamp.
