Le FINLANDE stern trawler

Built as a stern trawler under yard No 608 by the yard of Esercizio in Viareggio for Sociéte Nouvelle des Peche Lointaines (SNPL) Bordeaux, France.
29 December 1970 keel laid down.
26 May 1973 launched as the FINLANDE III.
Tonnage 1,701 grt, dim. 86.85 x 13.6m, length bpp77.0m.
Powered by one Polar diesel engine, 3,600 hp., speed 15 knots.
01 December 1973 completed.
1988 Sold to Sea Harvest Corporation (PTY) Ltd. South Africa, renamed OCEAN VICTORY III.
06 July 2007 arrived at Saldanha Bay Harbour for scrapping.
