AMPHION. 5th Rate. Built at Adams Yard, Deptford Launched 17 September 1773. Built for Royal Navy L 126'6" B35'. 684tn.bm. Armament 32 Duns Captured the French HELENE 1779 was in operation in the Chesapeake 1781 and assisted in the capture of the French HIRONDELLE 1798.
