ESPANA. Battleship. Spanish Navy. Built in 1915 as ALFONSO XIII, later renamed at the Ferrol Yard. 15452tn. L459'2". B78'9". Dr25'6". Parsons turbine of 15500bhp. 4 screws. 19kn. Armed with Eight 12". Twenty 4" and Five 3pdr guns. Complement 854. She was sunk by a mine on 30th April 1937 - Spain, Cadiz Province. Civil War Issue. 5c. NC (T Broadley)
