FALKEN. TWR masted Schooner. Built in 1947 at the Naval Dockyard, Stockholm for the Swedish Navy. Launched 12th June 1947. 220tons. L129'6". B23'6". Dr13'6". Fitted with Auxiliary diesel of 50bhp. Sail area 5.511sq.ft. + 1.044sq.ft. foresail. Steel hull. Complement of 15 crew + 38 cadets. Took part in the Tall Ship Races of 1956. 1966. 1968 and 1970. With her sister ship GLADAN makes summer cruises in the Baltic-Mediterranean - Sweden 1972. 550. SG692 (LB2/23. 3/70)
