Built as a cargo vessel by Wonsan Shipyard, Wonsan, North Korea for Kimchaek Fishery Station, Kimchaek, North Korea.
Launched as the RYONG NAM SAN (Stanley Gibbons gives RYONGNAMSAN one word.)
Tonnage 6,399 grt, 9,073 nrt, dim. 127.3 x 18.4m.
One diesel engine ?hp, speed?
1985 Delivered to owners.
2003 Renamed in GAN BAEK SAN, amended in 2010 to KAN BAEK SAN.
2013 Renamed SA JA BONG.
2014 In service. Same owner, IMO No 8826046
