Not much info on her but the SIRIUS was purchased in January 1880, she was a pailebote a small topsail schooner and used by the Uruguay navy for monitoring navigational markers, buoys and floating pontoons and hydrographic surveys etc.
February 1887 decommissioned and sold in 1889.
Her fate unknown.
