Paysandú ROU (Patrol Boat) 1968

Built at Ancona by CNR. The class consisted of three ships (Sisterships are Negro and Salto). The ships were also used as training ships when not on patrol.

Date of launch; June 1968. Date of commisioned; 29 November 1968. Lenght; 25,50 m. Beam width; 6,7 m. Draft; 1,85 m. Crew; 11 man.

Displacement; 180 tons. Speed; 17 knots. Armament 2 x 20 mm guns and 1 x 30 mm gun.

She was named after a city in Uruguay. The city is located on the banks of Uruguay River, which forms the border with Argentina.
