Built as an inland passenger ship by Schiffswerf Korneuburg at Korneuburg, Austria for the Danube S.S. Co. (DDSG), Vienna.
Launched as the THEODOR KOERNER, also given as THEODOR KÖRNER.
Dim. 87.14 x 16.60 x 1.80m. (draught). (when built)
Powered by two Deutz 12-cyl. 4-stroke diesel engines, 2100 hp. two Voith Schneider propellers, speed 24 km/h.
Accommodation for 1100 day passengers or when making cruises 116 passengers in 41 cabins.
Crew around 30.
1965 Completed.

She was originally built for short trips and cruises on the Danube River but nowadays only used for cruises on the Danube River. When built was she the largest passenger vessel on the Danube River.
Her engines were replaced by two Mitsubishi S12R MPTA diesel engines, 2161 hp.
1998 Underwent a renovation.
2014 In service, Amazonica Shipping given as owner and chartered by Rad and Reisen GmbH.
Dimensions now given as 85.53 x 15.98 x 1.80m. (draught)
Passenger accommodation for 161 passengers in 65 cabins.
