This six stamps issued by Chile depict various fishing methods which are used in Chilean waters,
From the left to the right>
1) Oysters gathering at Coquimbo by divers.
2) Molluscs gathering at San Antonio and Port Montt.
3) The Albacore (swordfish) is harpooned by artisanal fishermen from a fishing boat off San Antonio.
4) Catching of the spider-crab at Punta Arenas, and a fishing boat
5) Hake fishing off Talcahuano, with a gill net. Hake is Chilean most popular fish and is not very expensive.
6) Women putting bait on hooks ashore for line fishing.
