Built in 1858-'69 by Arsenal de Ferrol for the Spanish Navy.
Frigate, displacement:6253 tons, L:86.30m. B:17.28m. D:8.28m. Draft:7.40m. steam engine:800 nhp. (3200 ihp.) 12.5kn. bunkers:800 tons of coal, complement:560, armament:10-220 mm. Palliser cannons, 3-180 mm. Palliser cannons.
Wooden hull with iron armor of 150 mm. below the waterline.
In 1887 out of service, until 1896 used as pontoon, then demolished.
